The hot weather which prcd di d the storm had succeeded in drying up things pret ty thoroughly. The rye and wheat out across the C. P. track had begun to turn up their tots to the sun. A few of the most pessimistic had already begun to breathe out murmurs of crop failures. But this timely cool spell put all to rights again. Now the prospects for the dry farmers are much more encouraging. |
