Frequent washing, he asserts, does no good. Th disease, for such ic really is, may have iu origin in the skin, in the glands or in tho system, and tho cause must first be removed. At least one a day (or twice if possible) the feet should be soaked in tannin and warm water Stockinet should be changed one or twice daily, and only woolen should be worn. Insoles of felt should be worn and changed with the stockings; they can be wet iu chlorinated soda, and then dried for further use. The stockings, when removed, should bo driedjby the tire.
