Show POOR MEXICO PRESIDENT WILSON has been nursing Car-ranza Car-ranza for a long time. It looks as though he would soon have to send an army down there to protect him. The president does not like to accept ac-cept any fact unless he is the first to see it, but it begins to look as though he must soon come to the conclusion that there is no germ of progress to expand in Mexico; that the land is given up to vagabands and thieves who want neither order nor law nor tranquility, and that, unpleasant and costly as it will be, there is nothing to do but to go down there, kill a host of tho worthless creatures crea-tures that are preying upon their country; establish estab-lish order and law and organize a government to permit the people to begin work anew, and through slow advances into the light. |
