Wednesday evening, the Methodists Method-ists began their revival meetings in the large lent erected for that purpose on the square two blocks west of the Court House. The tent will seat several hundred, and so far the meetings have been quite well attended. It is thought the revival will terminate Sunday evening, July 9th. Meetings will be held every day until then. The 1 visitors present are Rev. M. Nelson, presiding elder of the Utah and Montana district; Rev. E. Moreh of Richfield; Rev. P. N. Mehlby of Levan; Kev. O. llalrej-son of Provo; Rev. J. Olson of Ilyrum, and Miss M. Jensen, teacher from Richfield. We are requested to announce that tomorrow at 10 a. m. there will be prayer and testimony meeting; at 11 n. m., preaching in the Scandinavian Scan-dinavian language. Young people's meeting at 8 p. m, severaj speakers speak-ers will take part. Preaching in the evening at 8 o'clock. Jt is thought that Rev. Tliff, the noted Salt Lake divine, will be present and take part in the. services ser-vices before thus conclusion of the revival. |
