Show FIRST WARD C0XJ01ST. The V. M. ami V. L. H. I. A. Kendcr & Fine I'roeram. A splendid conjoint meeting of the V. M. and Y. L. M. I. A. of th e First ward was held i n the ward meeting house last Sunday evening, March nth. A large congregation con-gregation was called to order at 7:30. The choir sang. Prayer was offered by Ole Jenson. Singing. Nels JonHon gave an instructive accountof the division of the church of Rome and the Greek church, also a brief account of the reformers in connection with the same. Song by several young ladies: The Cold Water Army. Sketch by Miss Maggie Mc-Master; Mc-Master; subject, Mary Magdalene. The life of Lydia Knight was treated in an interesting manner hy Nels Hansen. A solo and chorus was rendered by D. Booth and others; entitled, " Am Dreaming," etc. The Young Ladies' Journal was then read. It was quite an interesting inter-esting feature of the program. The choir sang an anthem. Benediction Bene-diction by H. L. Steed. |
