The resignation of A. E. Flames as Sheep Inspector, was accepted and the office declared vacant. In answer to petition, Joseph . Merrill was appointed County Sheep Inspecto:. Pond was filed and approved by the Court. Petition of J. A. J. JJaekmann, Collinston, asking the Court to refund unused portion of his liquor license; not granted. Mrs. Caroline Lawrence, of Willard, appeared before the Court, stating that she had been deserted by her husband and wan at present in neerl ot assistance, ueierreu io Committee on Poor. School land applied for by A. Hunsaker was leased to him al annual rental of $7.50, excepting that part recorded for mineral purposes. pur-poses. Bill presented by Supt D. C. Hubbard, asking that the County pay for the material used by the schools in making their exhibits for the World's Fair, granted. It was ordered by the Court that $1,404 be set aside out of the County School Fund fur the compensation com-pensation of the County Supt., Board of Examiners, Assessor. Collector, Treasurer ami incidental expenses, according to the recommendation re-commendation of the report of County Supt. Hubbard. The County Supt. of District Schools filed his report, showing the amount of the funds required in order to successfully carry on the schools this coining school year. Letter from Tom D. Pitt, in behalf of the Corinne Mill, Canal and Stock Co., referred to Judge Kirk as a committee of one. The matter of obtaining stringers string-ers and joles for the Deep Creek bridge, near Snowville. referred to Selectman Olson. John F. Olson appointed to care for Court House grounds the ensuing en-suing year at $21 a month. The sum of $100 was appropriated appro-priated as emergency fund for Committee on Poor. On motion of T. II.
