Show HOT AIR DEVICE. I H Working on tho well known fact IH that the heat fiom a cow's body is j H enough to warm a large area, John ' H N. Ventor of Jayport, Vt., has evolved . H a scheme which has saved him a win- t H tor's coal and which robs the threat- j ened fuel famine of all its terrors It H for him. i H Mr. Ventor found that the heat ot fl his herd of cows was enough to keep fl his stable at a comfortable tempera- r H ture during the coldest weather and H decided that he needed heat in his H house more than in tho barn. D He rigged a sheet iron room for H each cow, tho only openings to which , H were those for ventilation and H through a pipe which led to his H house. These pipes were attached to H his furnace connections and the heat H thus generated was enough to warm M his rooms thoroughly. Q Tho only drawback to the scheme J M is the odor that comes through the I M pipes from tho stable. Mr. Ventor I M will obviato this by feeding his cows M breath perfume mixed with their j H food.
