Show H "ROBIN HOOD." H Arrangements have been completed for the H appearance at the Salt Lake Theatre on Thurs- H day, Friday and Saturday next and Monday fol- H lowing, of the popular Salt Lake Opera com- H pany, which is giving a mammoth revival of H their greatest , success, "Robin Hood." This opera is being prepared for the fiftieth anniversary anni-versary of the opening of the Theatre, which occurred March 8th, 18G2. The company is composed entirely of the local Salt Lake peo- Who will be seen as Alan-A-Dale In "Robin Hood" at the Salt Lake Theatre next week plo who have produced for many years past, many signal successes. It includes Mrs. Hazel Taylor-Perry, Mrs. Harold Siegel, Miss Edna Evans, Miss Mabel Cooper, John D. Spencer, Horace S. Ensign, Hugh W. Dougall, Fred C. Graham, William S. Bassett, Alvin Keddington and George D. Pyper. The stage business is under the direction of Mr. William Bernard of the Garrick company, and John D. Spencer, with special dances by Neill Pratt. Beautiful costumes have been furnished by Goldstein and Company of San Francisco. In addition to the opera, the time between the acts will be devoted to entertainment commemorative com-memorative of the opening of the Theatre. The curtain will go up at eight o'clock. Hon. Heber M. Wells will make a brief address and pictures of old time scenes and actors will be projected on canvas. |
