Bo it ordained by tho City council of .Salt Lake City. Utah: '- SECTION 1. That Section 400 of tho Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an orai-nanco orai-nanco passed by tho City Council August Au-gust 13, 1900, and approved by the Mayor, August IB, 190C, be, and the eamfr is hereby, amended and re-enacted so as to road as follows: SECTION 400. VEHICLES. It shall bo unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to engage in tho business of hackman, passenger parrlor, drayman, carter, omnimis driver, piano mover, oxprossman or cabman upon tho streets of Salt Lako City without first obtaining a license so to do. For such license there shall be paid an annual llconso tax, which shall bo paid into tho City Treasjiry I annually in advance, the amounts of I money as follows: For llconso to run am omnibus.. $25. 00 For a llconso to run a passenger passen-ger vehicle drawn by two or moro hornes 20.00 For a license to run a passen ger vehicle drawn by one horse 15.00 For a license to run an automobile automo-bile carrying not moro thun four persons 30.00 For a license to run an automobile auto-mobile carrying more than four persons 40.00 For a llconso to run a vehicle, for carrying express matter, such vehicle being drawn by one horse iu.U For a license to run a vehicle for carrying express matter, such vohiclo being drawn by two or more horses js.OO For a license to run a vehicle for tho carrying of froight, such vohiclo being drawn by one horse 5.00 For a license to run a vehicle for tho carrying of froight, such vehicle being drawn by two or more horses 12.00 For a license to run a vohiclo for tho carrying of pianos exclusively, ex-clusively, such vohiclo being drawn by one horse 9.00 For a license to run a vehicle for tho carrying of pianos exclusively, ex-clusively, such vohiclo being drawn by two or moro horses 12.00 For a license to run a vehicle for tho carrying of furniture, or a vohiclo for moving household furniture, such vehicle ve-hicle being drawn by one horse 5.00 For a license to run a vehlclo for carrying furnlturo, or a vehicle for moving household lurnlturo, such vehlclo being drawn by two or moro horses. 12.00 For a license to run an automobile automo-bile freight wagon tt.oi SECTION 2. All ordinances nnd resolutions or parts of ordinancos and resolutions in conflict horowith are horoby repealed to tho extent of such conflict. SECTION 3.
