| Show BEATH OF ANNIE C annie cecelia nelson widow of the lato late nels nela 11 II nelson died sunday evening at 7 at the family home in tills this city north third west street of asma atler after an illness of nearly a year mrs nelson was born january 25 1845 in ili denmark she emigrated to utah in 1858 and after residing at salt lake city for a short time removed to brigham city she married nels 11 1 1 nelson of this city november 25 1860 he died in 1894 for a time she resided in cache valley and from there removed to bear river city with her husband they returned later to brigham city where she has resided during the past 45 years mrs nelson was a midwife by profession fes sion taking up her practice in issa she followed her profession constantly up until her health begin to fall fail some months ago attending her ter last case in october of 0 last year sirs mrs nelson was one of 0 those good mothers in whom everyone had confidence and was dearly loved by practically everyone in the community she performed wonderful services in the homes of the people and was skilled in carding for and alleviating the sufferings of the sick and afflicted doctors were scarce during the years of her early practice and she was often called into the homes to prescribe lor for and nurse the sick service above self was her motto in life and she served the people of this community as long as as her strength would permit I 1 sui surviving are the following sons and d daughters augh alma nelson of ogden mrs lenora burt ot of california mrs nellie ewer of brigham arnold nelson of bear river city thirty three grand children and eleven great grand chil areto re buhe rat services walt be if bield eld ii at alie thild thild ward chapel wednesday afternoon at 1 under the direction of dishop bishop H W valentine interment will be in the city cemetery |
