Show Mr. Bryan, in his journal, Insists that all good Democrats should insist that the delegates .they support, pledge themselves to vote to reaffirm the Kansas City platform. Mr. Bryan evidently believes be-lieves that like the Constitution of the United States, that platform is infallable. He evidently thinks of it as did the old Scotchman of thG Iliad, who wrote: "Read Homer once and you will read no more, All other books will seem so tame and poor But don't despair, continue but to read And Homer will be all the book you need." |
