Show SALT LAKE CITY. The progress of Salt Lake City during the last year has been most satisfactory. Contractors have been crowded with work every day; it will astonish people to read the list of new building and those nearing completion. Many of them, too, are very fine structures, fine enough for any city in the Union. The population has increased by several thousands; the business of the city has largely increased; the steady inflow of bullion from the mines is a very wonder. The prospects for 1904 are still more assuring The breath of the coming railroads will bring a thrill to business before the coming year closes and it should be felt first in advancing realty values. Not one omen of disaster makes a discord in the rhythm of this city's advancement. |
