Show Mining. The Ilanapah Mining and Smelting company, capitalized for $1,000,000, is the latest addition to big mining corporations, and its organization is accredited to Mr. Samuel Newhouse. Its foldings cover a number of rich discoveries made some months ago about eighteen miles east of Tono-pah, Tono-pah, Nov., and running 6000 feet along the strike of two large well-defined ledges. Prospecting has been systematically done on the various claims, and has resulted in uncovering a good body of ore going from 150 to 400 ounces in silver and up to $27 in gold per ton. The character of the ore is identical with the richest pay ledges of Tono-pah Tono-pah camp, and every indication points to a pay proposition practically from the inception of development. de-velopment. The officers of the company are Samuel Sam-uel Newhouse, president; Alfred J. Bettles, vice-president; vice-president; William E. Block, secretary and treasurer, treas-urer, who with Frank B. Work and M. E. Graham constitute the board of directors. The capitalization capitaliza-tion is divided into 1,000,000 shares at a par value of $1 each. |
