Show REMARKABLE, DEVELOPMENT - Th Salt Lake Tribune has come out in favor of an independent Republican ticket in Utah, and it gives as its reason that the recent convention ,p was contented by the Mormon church, or rather by Smoot aided by the church. Thi? is altogether remarkable, in view of the fact that Ssnator Kearns purchased the Tribune or the purpose of putting an end to opposition to the church by the paper. It has not been long since that change of ownership occurred, and yet the paper has already changed the policy for the maintenance of which it was changed by the Senator. Sen-ator.
