Show Oliver - Huntington HATCH - Oliver B. Huntington, 78, Hatch, died March 2, I960 at his home. He was born Oct S, 1901, Hatch, to Alexander Wiley and Julia Anna Marie Barnhurst Huntington. Hun-tington. He married Velma May Evans, Sept 12, 1923, Panguitch; solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He worked in a variety of occupations including a sheep herder; saw mill and power operator at Bryce Canyon; school bus driver; constable in Hatch and a deputy sheriff of Garfield County. He was a member of the Panguitch Stake High Priest Quorum and served a stake mission. He was president and chorister of the Sunday School and teacher in several organizations. He was a ward choir member and had served as MIA counselor and scoutmaster. Survivors: widow, Hatch; son, daughters: Garn Oliver, St. George; Mrs. Karl (Reva) Lowder, Mrs. David (Mayall) Sawyer, both Hatch; Mrs. Darol (Beth) Allred, Lexington, Ky.; Mrs. A. E. (Ileta) Dix, Panguitch; 24 grandchildren; grand-children; 30 great -grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters, brothers, Mrs. Abbiegale Fallis, Mrs. Ed (Julia) Turek, both Hatch; Mrs. Ada Nor dell, Washington; Mrs Vard (Florence) Heaton, Alton; Neal Clove, Panguitch. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Hatch Ward chapel. Friends may call at the chapel after 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Hatch Cemetery , y Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. |
