Show Gowles Retires After 35 Years At Garkane RICHFIELD, Utah Garkane Energy recently hosted a retirement dinner to honor Newell Cowles, who has completed a remarkable 35 years of service to the cooperative. Cowles, an Escalante native, has worked at Garkane's headquarters head-quarters office as Purchasing Agent and Cost Accountant throughout his career. Garkane CEO Carl Albrecht praised Cowles for" his dedication to the co-op and for his outstanding job performance. "Newell "New-ell has always been a stickler for the details," said Albrecht.
