This planning activit y encompasses approximately 2.2 rfiillion acres of public land in Garfield, Piute, Sanpete, Sevie r, and Wayne Counties, UT and the leasable mineral estate on portions of the Dixie, Fishlake an d Manti-LaSal National Forests. The plan will fulfill the needs and obligations set forth by th e National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Federal Land Policy and Management Ac t (FLPMA), and BLM management policies. The BLM will work closely with interested parties t o identify potential management decisions that are best suited to the needs of the public.
