Show By Marva Heidicr 679-8521 Anna Dunham had a pleasant surprise when she received an invitation to a special regional luncheon for "Presidents and Above," Avon representatives in Cedar City. At the luncheon she was awarded a plaque for being the "best performer" in 2002-03. It was a real honor for her and we congratulate her. Kay Dunham accompanied her to the luncheon. The weekend of May 30 - June 1, Anna spent in St. George where she met her sister from Salt Lake City and spent the day with her. They were also able to visit an aunt and uncle who live. there. Her grandson, J.J. stayed at the Pines with Marty and Ethel Rich. Anna took Margaret Braithwaite to Cedar City for a medical appointment one day last week and they did some shopping. Bishop Comp took J.J. to die Fathers aid Sons outing with son, Lonnie. The Hatterly family from northern Utah held dieir family reunion at the KOA campground here and attended LDS services on Sunday, boosting attendance considerably. Ward business consisted of the release of John Morreale as Employment and Welfare Specialist and Shane Stubbs was chosen to replace him. Speakers were Brooke Richard and Danny Yardley. Among diose attending the Hatterly reunion were Doyle and Brenda Wright and family of Orem. Years ago they were in the same LDS ward that Larry and Glenna Fletcher lived in and it was good for them to renew old friendships. Recendy the Beards held a family reunion in connection with die marriage of son Todd to Vicki Pollock. All 10 of Mel's children, from New Jersey, Arizona and Utah and Phyllis' son and 21 of die grandchildren attended. Mel's five sisters and brother, spouses and two sisters-in-law and brodier-in-law from Arizona were also here to help celebrate this happy day. All enjoyed the joyous companionship companion-ship and good food. The children chil-dren each enjoyed making one of Grandpa Mel's woodworking projects. Aaron Beard attended Camp Kostopolis in Salt Lake City the first week in June. It is a special camp for handicapped persons. "If you haven' t been to Zion Canyon this year it seems uncommonly beautiful," reported report-ed Rita Hammer following her trip with husband, A.C. to St. George to do personal shopping for Canonnville Town. Rita is town clerk. Steve and VerJean Clark had family members Derrick and Sherel Clark and family here on Sunday. Rosemary Fletcher took her mother Marva to Provo Friday to attend the baptism of great grandson, Alan Tanner. He is a grandson of Annabelle Palmer who also came from Fontana, Calif., along with her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and James Hawkins and family. They were met in Provo by Rex Fletcher and daughter, Jackie Aim and visited Elbe and Bill Sleeves who came from Elko. Alan's parents are Neal and Cindy Tanner and diey served a delicious dinner after the baptism. bap-tism. I got many reports diat the Talent Show and Poduck Dinner die Cannonville LDS Ward held last Saturday was a lot of fun. We didn't get back from Provo in time to attend so I can't give any details. Arma Stock had a visit from her daughter Nora Wagner who lives in Nashville, Tenn. I want to thank everyone who contributed the news.
