Show C-32EniErBe5Plc? Mews By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 Family reunions are the big news this time of year and it is so good to see all of our close and extended ex-tended family members again. The families of Preston and Elise Porter held their reunion at Escalante Park. All of their children chil-dren were present and many of the grandkids. Visiting with Steve and Kathy Goulding were her brother, Richard, Virginia and Chrystal, a granddaughter and her family, all of Woods Cross. Visitors at Rae Smith's home were her sister, Billy Dean and husband, hus-band, LaDon Ellett of West Valley City. They visited many of the local lo-cal scenic areas including Hells Backbone. Also here were Jim's sister, Hannah Spendlove and two of her girls from Las Vegas. Barbara Bar-bara Jagger of Escalante came for church where the Smith family put on the program. Those who spoke were Eric Smith, Dora Monson,, Dar Smith, and Thayne Smith. A medley of songs were sung by the Primary children. The Ken Piatt family attended the wedding and reception in Anna-bella Anna-bella for Charlene Rose, daughter of Colin and Laurie Rose. They also had a three-day family reunion at Brianhead that the Platts were in charge of this year. Then they all trekked out to Enterprise for the missionary homecoming of Ken's nephew, Brant Humphries. Their family sang a special number. We were all saddened to hear of the death of Maggie Henderson. She and Boyd had just been here for the funeral of her brother, Wayne, so many were able to have one last visit with her. She has many close family members in the valley and our condolences go out to all of them Visitors at Ernie and Wynona Henderson's were Ivan and Inez Winberg of Kearns who were here for the Smith reunion. Thev also took their mother, Elsie Goulding to the reunion and then took her to the reception for Brad and Yolanda Cowan. Also visiting the Hendersons Hender-sons were Cal and Martha 'Schow, Escalante and Alfred and Connie Jeppsen, Boulder. They delivered a beautiful quilt and Coleman cooler .set which the Hendersons had won, sold by the Sons of the Pioneers. We are happy to report Virginia B. Johnson is home now and doing quite well. |
