Show Gordon M. Beckstrom PANGUITCH Gordon M Beckstrom, 67, of Panguitch, passed away May 2, 2000 at his son's home in Murrieta, Calif. He was born Mar. 23, 1933 in Panguitch, Pan-guitch, to Dilworth "Dewy" and Iola LeFevre Beckstrom. He married Annette Veater on June 20, 1952 in the St. George LDS Temple. He was raised and educated in Panguitch. He moved his family to San Diego, Calif., where he worked as a truck driver and warehouseman for over 30 years. He retired and moved back to Panguitch in 1997. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family in many activities. He was an active member of the LDS Chruch, where he served in many capasities. He is survived by his wife Annette An-nette of Panguitch; children: Shirley Shir-ley Carlson of St. George; Stanley (Nancy)' Beckstrom and Clayton (Helen) Beckstrom, all of Cedar City; Michael (Rebecka) Beckstrom of Murrieta, Calif.; and Kenneth (Denise) Beckstrom of San Diego, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Fern Shakespear of Layton. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Bernard, Leland, Melvin and Clayton Beckstrom; and sister, Pauline Davis. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Tues-day, May 9, 2000 in the Panguitch 3rd LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Del Hulet officiating. The family prayer was given by Kenn Beckstrom, a son and prelude and postlude music was played by Pam Robinson. The invocation was offered by Clayton Beckstrom, a son. A tribute trib-ute was given by Michelle Olsen, a granddaughter and grandchildren and ' i I I v.: y Gordon Beckstrom great-grandchildren sang a medley of songs, accompanied by Nancy Beckstrom, a daughter-in-law. A tribute was given by Stan Beckstrom, a son and Nancy Beckstrom Beck-strom played a piano solo. Remarks Re-marks were made by John W. Yard-ley Yard-ley and Bishop Del Hulet. James and Debra Veater, a nephew and niece, sang "Together, Forever, Someday," accompanied by Nancy Beckstrom. The benediction was offered by Shirley Carlson, a daughter. daugh-ter. Pallbearers were sons Stan, Clayton, Mike and Kenn Beckstrom; Beck-strom; and grandsons Gene Olson, Craig Beckstrom and Braddy Beckstrom. Beck-strom. Burial was at the Panguitch City Cemetery and the dedication of the grave was offered by Mike Beckstrom, a son.
