Show MJ7IM0UV rj&'js By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Attending meetings in Escalante on Monday were Phil and Shannon Allen for Pine Lake allotment; Devon Taylor for the Tres Amigos and Creston Black for the Rockin R. Ranch. On Tuesday those with the Coyote allotment met with the Forest Service and included Kasey King, Kenneth King, Van Wiley, Tom Wiley, Dave Smith, Hal Jensen, Randy Gleave and Gary Hallows. Piute High School has six seniors graduating this year with Todd Stevens, Bryce Allen, John Wall, Cassie Gleave, Kwin Willis and Haelle Sheperd. The Junior Prom was held and four juniors were recognized, Dachelle Martin, Robert Porter, Ashley Gleave and Kendra Wall. Stephanie Robinson of Circleville is also a junior and this will be her prom also. Her grandparents from here are the Leland Robinsons and the Jerold Savages. Hopefully the wind and dirt have slowed down for the day! We have roofs minus shingles here in town and some of the old outhouses around town are tipped over like it might have been Halloween. Karyn Sanchez had her son, Max Marlton and his band come to visit. They joined San Sanchez at the Rockin R Lodge playing some numbers. He is the drummer. Judy Green had her son, Jeff Bateman of Riverside, Calif, come to visit over the weekend. He brought his four wheeler and they had a great time. KayMar and Mary Jean Willis went to Provo Friday, Apr. 23 for the graduation of their daughter, Kati, from Brigham Young University. She graduated in art education. Kent Willis will graduate from the Ephraim branch of Snow College May 12. Kyle Willis will be home from his mission in Venezuela May 20. Gary Talbot was the speaker in Antimony LDS Sacrament on Sunday. He is a son of Tom and Maxine Talbot. The Jack Rowans were here over the weekend at their family home which is the Elliot Rowan house next to the LDS church. Ned and Coy Burr attended LDS Sacrament meeting in Glenwood where Ned's brother, Verl, blessed his grandson. He was given the name of Scott Stryder. Our boy scouts had a camp out Friday and Saturday. The Antimony LDS Ward was fasting on Sunday for moisture mois-ture as the coming months will be very critical. Wade and Jennifer Wiley will both be graduating from Snow College South on May 7. Wade will have an associate degree in computer drafting and Jennifer an associate degree in science and her LPN in nursing. |
