Show I Henrtavill Hews By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 Things are so green and nice after af-ter that million-dollar rain. We are all busy working and canning all the fruit and garden produce. A Scout Pack meeting was held and Ryan Moore earned all 20 of his Webefos activity pins. He will now graduate from Webelos to the 1 1-year-old Scouts. Bob and Helen Willis had their grandson Dean and his wife Lisa Oberhansli and kids Mary Rae and Bodi and Lisa's niece Jacklyn Bow , all of Hawthorne, Nev., for a visit. Joann and Henry Martinez have returned to Sparks, Nev., after a two week visit. Clayton and Heather Johnson decided for safety reasons to cut the huge tree down in front of their home. Clayton and dad Jeff are quite a team and got the job done. It was planted there by Nephi and Shanna Goulding and has given lots of playtime to the kids in town with a treehouse and large swing in it. Berthene Griffin had her daugh- ter Lynne Lackey of Las Vegas here for a short visit. Ernie and Wynona Henderson were in Salt Lake City for doctors appointments at the Veterans Administration Ad-ministration hospital and to visit their daughter Trish and husband Brian Dixon and their girls Dani and Nicki. They also visited their son Mitch. Ernie's sister Joan Cowles and her friend Doyle Jackson Jack-son spent an evening visiting, also. Ken and Artoise Piatt were happy to have daughters Krista and Tarynn home for the holiday weekend week-end from Dixie College. Daughter Jamie and husband Chad Reeder and daughter Alexa of Brigham City were also home. Chad is working in Ogden now, so they recently moved from Logan. Irving and Viola Rose were here (See HENRIEVILLE on page 4-A) HENRIEVILLE From Page 3-A from Orderville for Virginia Johnson's John-son's funeral. We are glad to hear that Irving is feeling better after a recent hospital stay. All of Gary and Sandy Johnson's John-son's family were home for Virginia Vir-ginia B's funeral on Friday. Rachael and Esther and Jed came from up north. Sarah and Brady Bradshaw came from Cedar City and Brady and Ruth Carter and Becca and Jed Albrecht and son Braxton all came from Minersville. Sandy's mother Wanda Lifferth of Sandy and her brother Richard and Carole and Leslie Lifferth of Springville all came as well as her sister Gretchen and Kevin and Mark Nott of Lehi. Visiting for week with Sarah and Daniel Rose was Sarah's sister Sylvia Henderon of Henderson, Nev. Those sustained as the new LDS Young Women's presidency are Nancy Chynoweth, president; Shirley Shir-ley Barker and Collette Mathews as counselors. The Young Men's presidency will be Duztin Soren-son, Soren-son, president; Russ LeFevre and Daniel Rose, counselors. Those called as counselors in' the Relief Society were Susie Clarke and Cindy Johnson. |
