Show CMJUOUVIUG tJGl'JS By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Stacy Ott of Washington City brought his four children to visit grandma, Mira Loy Ott, while he helped his father to round up young cows. Bob really appreciated appre-ciated his help and also the help of grandson Klancy Ott. Klancy and Sami and their new little son are living in the home where Eric and Tammy Jessen lived and are preparing to build a new home in the south part of town. The Jessens are buying the former for-mer home of Barbara Werb in the north end of town. Minok Dunham visited her daughter, Fran and the grandchildren grand-children in Kanab for a few days. Lonnie Comp, son of Joey and Colleen Comp has his 12th birthday and was ordained a deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood in the Cannonville LDS Ward on Sunday. LDS Patriarch Jim Clarke was the speaker in Sacrament meeting. Jim and Erma Clarke went to Las Vegas, NV to visit their son, Arthur, his wife, Nannette and family. Jim went with Arthur to the Electronics Show and they also enjoyed going to sessions in the LDS temple there and attending church with the family. fami-ly. They came home Sunday. On Friday they went to Cedar City to visit daughter, Cheryl Garrett, her husband, Kevin and their family. Vaughn, Mae and Arjean Twitchell went to Cedar City Sunday to attend LDS Sacrament meeting where their grandson, A.J. Munford gave a talk before leaving for an LDS mission to the West Indies. Also attending were all of the members mem-bers of their family, Ron, Leah and family from West Valley City; Craig and Lee Twitchell, Doug and Tammy Twitchell, and Karl and Lori Munford, all of Cedar City. So it turned out to be quite a reunion and they all enjoyed the visit. Rosemary Fletcher spent Friday and Saturday here with her mother, Marva Fletcher. Don and Merle Allen spent Friday and Saturday here visiting visit-ing Merle's sisters, Bea Reynolds and Evelyn Heaton. Bea also had her daughters, Elaine Shakespear and Susan Reynolds and her grandson, Jameson Choate of Panguitch visit her Sunday. Mel and Phyllis Beard spent a day in Cedar City and had lunch with their son, Aaron Beard. I would like to submit news of family visits while I was in Cedar City but didn't learn of these until this week. Tom and Gay Shakespeare had all but one of their children and their families at their home for the holiday including Todd and Crystal and family of Salt Lake City; Jeff and Tracy of Cedar City; Brook and Heidi came from Logan and brought their new twins, Sam and Shianne, who were born Dec. 12 and came to get acquainted with grandparents. Kim and Cherish also came from Salt Lake City and David and Kelly came from Richmond, VA. David has been accepted in pharmaceutical school and will be staying in Richmond for another four years. This past week, Todd and Chrystal brought their children, Glade and Abby to stay with their grandparents' while they went to Salt Lake City. Gay said they had a blast and it was such fun having them there. Bill and Bonnie Nelson made a trip to St. George to check on and visit his sister, Shanna Waite. She is recovering from a back injury she suffered in a fall. We send our get well wishes and love to her. John Morreale is in Pasadena, Calif, spending a few days visiting visit-ing his mother and sisters. Richard and Delon Fletcher spent Wednesday in St. George attending the LDS temple there. Eric and Tammy Jessen are the proud parents of a new baby boy. Didn't get his weight or height or the birthdate but someone some-one said he is to be named Kirby. |
