Show Escalante News By Marlene Haws 826-4859 Clea Woolsey took time off from her job at Ruby's Inn to enjoy a trip with her children. Layne and Pat Woolsey and Robert and Judy Woolsey. Robert and Judy live in Lehi. They especially enjoyed visiting vis-iting the redwood forest in California. They also went to San Francisco then toured the west coast up into Oregon. Bill and Carolyn Bowmar had their son, Paul, here from Honolulu for 9 days. He brought a friend, Gina Brovo, who lives in the Philippines. They visited Las Vegas, Nev., Zion and Bryce Canyons, Posey Lake and other points of interest around here and Keith Carter took them for a horse back ride. Gina was very impressed by it all. Jim and Janet Spencer, Orem, spent a few days with Janet's parents, par-ents, Claron and Ruby Griffin.and Elaine Lott was at the Dennis Lott home. Fon Mecham had surgery at the Dixie Regional Med. Center in St. George. She was there 3 days. After she got back home her son Ron and his two sons, Darren and Brett, came from Las Vegas to spend the weekend. Fon is feeling much better now. Brandy Sandefer came from Las Vegas, Nev. to visit her mother, Faye Lyman, for a few days. Ty Sandefer is working with his father, Gene Sandefer, in Colorado. Thelma Marsh accompanied Warren and Kathleen Woolsey on a trip to Calgary, Canada. They went with a group of Cedar City doggers. dog-gers. The Marc McLemore family went to California for a family reunion. re-union. They spent some time with Marc's folks and took the kids to Disneyland before returning home. Frank Venuti took Hazel and Dudley Spencer to Loa to meet a bus load of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers from up North. They rode from Loa to Escalante with them and Dudley acted as tour guide-spokesman guide-spokesman as they traveled over Boulder mountain, through Boulder, calf creek and on into Escalante.
