Show Match Hews By Mayall Sawyer 7354207 Homer and Marilyn Dutton of St. George are here visiting friends and enjoying our lovely weather. Speaker in LDS Sacrament meeting Sunday was Wallace Lee of Panguitch. Deward and Donna Riggs of Salt Lake City are here staying at their cabin out on the flat, and visiting Estella Riggs. Dennis and Barbara Dalton and family of Las Vegas, are here visiting LaMar and Dorothy Barney and checking on their new home that is being built here. Visiting Craig and Jerry Barney over the week-end was son Mark Barney. Ivor Riggs, of Cedar City, visited vis-ited here over the weekend. Darol and Beth Allred with other family members; Marlene Cooley and children of Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, N.M.; and Janet Houston, of Logan, went to California, where they visited Paul and Delores de Victoria and children and they also got to see their new grandson Daniel. A special thank you to the six state road workers, under the direction di-rection of Bruce Dalton who had special permission from Governor Mike Leavitt to bring in dump trucks, graders and back hoes to 'help Hatch residents clean up their town. A large crowd turned out, filling unused ditches, hauling haul-ing trash, old farm machinery and other clutter away from back yards. The town has three large trash trailers for the towns folk to put their trash that doesn't fit into the green dumpsters or garbage cans. They are already overflowing overflow-ing and will be emptied and brought back for a month. The citizens of town prepared a lunch and cold lemonade for all the workers. May Sawyer, Valeene Roberts, Kena Roberts and Am-berly Am-berly Roberts went to Cedar City on Thursday to help Amberly celebrate her birthday. Kenny Mack and Cassie Mack, of Fullerton, Calif., are here for a few days enjoying the fishing and visiting old friends. |
