Show McnriovillG News By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 Visiting with the Melvin Wetzels were their children Rebecca and husband Clay Wagstaff of Tropic; Carl and husband Peter Hu-biak Hu-biak and children Tommy, Marigold, Mari-gold, and Calico of Cedar City; Emily and husband Brandon Allen of Provo, who were here to bless their new little son Isaac. The other members of the family from Henrieville all joined in for a family fam-ily dinner at the home of Sarah and Duztfn Sorensen. Speakers in LDS Sacrament meeting were Brandon and Emily Allen and Matt and Vanessa Wetzel. A special musical number was performed per-formed by the Piatt family. Beverly Thompson was in Cedar City for doctors appointments, following fol-lowing her knee surgery. Several people were at the town hall for their flu shot on Wednesday, Wednes-day, Oct. 13. Thor and Cindy Johnson went to Wasilla, Ala. to visit Thor's brother Roland, wife Angie and their family. Thor will be going again this week. Shawn Chynoweth has gone to Las Vegas to a PGA Golf tournament. tourna-ment. Tiger Woods is one of the many professionals who will be playing. Ken and JoAnne Goulding were in Cedar City visiting with Garth Heap and Dallin Sawyer and family. We were all shocked and saddened sad-dened to hear of the death of Nicole Nelson of Cannonville. Many of her family and friends from Henrieville Hen-rieville attended her funeral services in Tropic. Our love and condolences condo-lences to the family. A special thank you to all the people who supported our Lion's Club Deer Hunter's Ball. The Lion's Club is happy to have five new members. Dewey Willis, a lifelong resident resi-dent of this valley, passed away on Oct. 14. He will certainly be missed in the local LDS Ward and in the community. Our thoughts and prayers are with Teora, his wife, and their children Cecil and Patsy. |
