Show BCNP Evaluates Two Park Areas For Changes BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL NA-TIONAL PARK The National Park Service has two environmental environ-mental assessments available for public review. ; The first environmental assessment as-sessment evaluates the enlargement enlarge-ment of the Inspiration Point Parking Lot so large vehicles (buses and recreational vehicles) can safely navigate through the traffic lanes. This proposal would not increase the number of parking park-ing spaces, only widen the travel lanes. The second environmental assessment as-sessment evaluates the construction construc-tion of a food storage building in the park Mixing Circle. This metal building will be used by the concessionaire, AmFac Corporation, Corpora-tion, to store non-refrigerated food items until they are needed at the Bryce Canyon Lodge dining room. For additional information contact Richard Bryant, Monday through Friday, at (801) 834-4900. The assessments will be available for public review until June 6, 1997. |
