Show Area 1 Obituaries Lee Allen CIRCLEVILLE Samuel Lee Allen, age 89, died Nov. 7, 1997 in Panguitch. He was born Aug. 9, 1908 in Circleville, Utah, a son of Chester William and Sarah Dazina Gottfredson Allen. Lee was the youngest of 10 children, seven of whom lived to adulthood. He attended school in Circleville and Cedar City. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman, spending most of his tour of duty in Iran. Lee farmed in Circleville for over 60 years, and also worked for 15 years for the U.S. Forest Service. Her served in the LDS Church as a teacher and clerk. Lee never married, but was a beloved be-loved uncle to eight neices and ten nephews. He is survived by 15 of these: Berthold Weinstein, Liver-more, Liver-more, Calif.; Sandra Tebbs, Tre-monton; Tre-monton; Guen Sandberg, St. George; Bruce Allen, Dare Allen and Carol Fowler, all of Salt Lake City; Jetta Huber of Wasilla, Alaska; Mauna Proctor , Colorado Springs, Colo.; Phil Allen, Ogden; Yolande Tew, Provo; Dean Allen, Gambrills, Md; Champ Allen, Springville; Wayne Allen, Orem; Joyce Nielson, Sandy; and Calvert Allen, Farmington. Funeral services will be held on Sat., Nov. 15, at 1 p.m. in the Circleville LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing that morning from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the services. At his request, his remains will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date in the Circleville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 'the family suggests that donations be made to the National Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 4929 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif., 90010.
