Congratulations Con-gratulations ; Funeral . services for Wanda Wilson, formerly of Hatch, was held here on Wednesday. Family members from out of town were: Darol Luke and wife from Kingston; King-ston; Mr. and Mrs. Duane Luke, Kingston; ; the Butlers, Mesa Ariz; Virginia Wilson, Carolyn Poulson, Marie Davis, Marba Lazenby, all from the Salt Lake City area; Russell and Yvonne Wilson, Delta; Leora Sawyer, Logan; Judy Shelton, Mendon; Carl and LaPreal Wilson, St. George; and Will and Charlett Lane, Page, Ariz. LaMar Barney took Dorothy (See HATCH On Page 3-A) Hatch News From Page 2-A Barney to Salt Lake City to the hospital, they were accompanied by daughters Janell Dickett and Janett Young. Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Pio-neers meeting was held at the home of Ardis Evans. Ruth Wilson Wil-son gave a lesson on "Cash Valley". Val-ley". A video of the Hatch Camp Museum was played. Those attending at-tending were captain Beth Allred; vice Captain, May Sawyer; music leader Ardis Evans and Secretary Ruth Wilson. A pot-luck luncheon lunch-eon was served. Jaycee Torgerson has been appointed the Hatch Town Clerk. Sharon Sawyer and cub Scouts Matt Young, Andy Barney, John Zechlin, along with Trisha, Travis and Rick Sawyer all went tubing at Brian Head on Friday. Ruby Barahona returned home recently after spending a few weeks in Honduras. Garth Heap, Cedar City, was here for a few days checking on his cattle. Shirley Wilhelm, Shauna Hatch, Shelly Burrows and Isaac Burrows went to St. George on Friday. Visiting May Sawyer on Thursday were: Kena Roberts from Logan and Vallene Roberts from Antimony. Tuesday, May and Valeene went to Cedar City for a doctors appointment. They met Tracy Mattheson there for lunch. |
