Show Follow-up On Quid Pro Coal Jan. 9 Issue The Garfield County News is hopeful of printing a full transcript of American Investigator's Dec. 19 report "Quid Pro Coal" detailing connections its investigators have found among President Bill Clinton's Clin-ton's lockup of Kaiparowits coal in the Escalante-Grand Staircase National Monument, Indonesian coal interests, the Lippo Group and John Huang. Because of the holidays and early deadlines, it was not possible to pull it all together. We will publish pub-lish either the full transcript or a lengthy summary in our Jan. 9 issue. |
