Show Hatch News By Mayall Sawyer 735-4391 Family members attending the 60th wedding anniversary celebration celebra-tion for Calvin and Ruth Wilson were Will and Charlotte Lane of Page, Ariz.; son Curtis Wilson of Salt Lake City; Martha Lane and Regina Lane of Page, Ariz.; Le-Grand Le-Grand and Merle Wood of Las Vegas, Nev.; Anne Rives and Beth Weideman of Henderson, Nev.; Wallace and Marilyn Heap and Don and Deana Heap and families of Cedar City; Ruth's aunt Laura Pendleton and daughter daugh-ter Ada Ann Pendleton of St. George; and Kenny and Joanne Goulding of Henrieville. The celebration was held Saturday. Bob and Lititia Henderson of Orderville visited here Saturday. Beth Walter was baptized a member of the LDS Church on Saturday by her father Scott Walter. Wal-ter. Grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins came by the dozens as well as brothers, sisters, and friends. Darol and Beth Allred visited in St. George with the Lyle Allred family. Terry Barney attended a postmaster post-master convention in Kanab. The Hatch LDS Ward Cub Scouts attended day camp in Red Canyon. Scouts attending included in-cluded were Matt Young, Andy Barney, Scott Barney, Brandon Dix, and Joel Walter. Leaders amending were Jill Walter, Terry Barney and Janet Young. May Sawyer took her two great-grandson Colton and Hay-den Hay-den Roberts to Antimony on Sunday Sun-day where they visited with daughter Valeene and husband Ken Roberts and their family. Farrill and Marba Lazenby, Salt Lake City; the Kent Wilsons, Parowan; Carolyn Poulson and children, Salt Lake City; Carl and LaPreal Wilson, St. George and Virginia Wilson, Salt Lake City are all in Wilson Canyon and visiting relatives in Hatch. Mike and JoAnne Savage went to Beaver to attend the blessing of a nephew. Deuard and Donna Riggs of Salt Lake City visited with Estella Riggs this past week. LaMar and Dorothy Barney accoompanied Bill and Janell Duckett and the Ferrill Barney's on a fishing trip to Canada. Louis Barney, son of LaMar and Dorothy Barney, graduated as a licensed practical nurse in City last week. Lane Burrows and grandsons of Kanab visited with the Merrill Burrows family. The John Zechlins, who live at Warner Ranch went to Idaho on business. Lyle and Darlene Sawyer visited vis-ited Vonee Roundy. They took her to Cedar City on Friday for a doctor's appointment. i |
