Show finlimony V, uv7 By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Tom and Charla Ricketts and family of Las Vegas came to pick up their elk at the meat locker. Valda Warner, wife of Milo Warner, passed away in Salt Lake City on Saturday. She had just recently had her 100th birthday. She and Milo lived here for many years. Gary and Beverly Hansen hit a cow on the way home from the basketball games on Friday night. Both were taken by ambulance to Sevier Valley Hospital. Beverly received some bad cuts on her face and had a concussion. Gary was badly shaken up and bruised but both were very lucky as they loaded the cow on top of the car. Ice fishing has started and it looks like fun but cold. Our wind has made the temperature stay down, as the chill factor. That certainly cer-tainly makes a difference. For those who have inquired, Val Wiley is Van's nephew, son of the Berzell Wileys. Daryl and Jackie Bullock and family of Cedar City were here visiting vis-iting with the Wayne Delanges on the weekend and attended church with them. Van and Betty Wiley, Marcia Tobiasson and Sally East traveled to American Fork on Thursday to help Roma W. Henrie celebrate her birthday on Thursday. Marcia and Toby Tobiasson were in Monroe where Toby refe-reed refe-reed for the wrestling tournaments. The LDS Relief Society held their work and business meeting on Wednesday evening and also the bantam basketball game was held in Marysvale on Wednesday evening, which makes a conflict for parents. |
