Garfield County, Utah, on the 4th day of February, 1997, at which election there shall be submitted to the qualified, registered regis-tered voters residing within said District the following question: proposition shall the board of education of garfield county school district, garfield county, state of utah. be authorized to issue akd sell general obligation bonds of the board to, but not exceeding, the amount of $8,000,000, to mature in not fo exceed twenty-five twenty-five (25) years from their respective date or dates, for the purpose 0? raising money for purchasing school sites, for building or purchasing pur-chasing one or more schoolhouses and supplying sup-plying the same with necessary furniture and apparatus and for purchasing, constructing construct-ing or improving such other buildings, sites, structures or equipment under the charge of the board of education and to provide money for the refunding of general obligation bonds of the board at or prior to the maturity thereof? Electors are advised to vote at the polling place for the election precinct in which they reside. The polls at each polling place shall be opened on the day set for the election at the hour of 7:00 A.M. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 P.M. of that same day. There will be no special registration registra-tion of voters for such speciafbond election and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such special spe-cial bond election, except that the County Clerk of Garfield County will register at her office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the twenty-day period immediately preceding the special bond election, any person who on the day of the special bond election will be a qualified elector, such person to be registered aspro-vided aspro-vided by law. The County Clerk will cause the registration agents in Garfield County School District to make registration lists or copies available at the above-described polling place for use by registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Absentee ballots may be obtained ob-tained by any person otherwise eligible eli-gible to vote at the special bond election but who is an absent elector elec-tor (as defined in Section 20A-3-304, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended), is physically, emotionally, emotion-ally, or mentally impaired; will be serving u an election judge or who has election duties in another voting vot-ing precinct; is detained or incarcerated incarcer-ated in, jail or prison; suffers a legal le-gal disability ; is prevented from voting in a particular location because be-cause of religious tenets or other strongly helcf personal values; is called for jury duty in state or federal fed-eral court: or who otherwise expects to be absent from the voting precinct on election day of the special spe-cial bond election by making application appli-cation in the manner and within the time provided by law, either in person or by mail at the office of the Business Administrator at the Garfield County School District Offices. 145 East Center, Panguitch, Utah.
