Show - Tropic Topics - Ella Adair Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sandburg attended at-tended their son's wedding in Montana Mon-tana and visited other family members mem-bers in northern Utah on the way home. Earl Jolley has been released from the LDS Hopsital and is at his son Henry's home in Heber City. The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Pio-neers will hold their meeting in the Scout House Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. Jared Barton gave his mission report in sacrament meeting Sunday. Sun-day. His mother and father, Carma and Berdell Barton, were also speakers. A special musical number was given by Catherine Littlefield and Kay Shakespear accompanied by Gwen Brinkerhoff. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Barton and sons, Bullfrog; Dorma Barton, Cedar City; and Mr. and Mrs. John Niemann, Panguitch, were out-of-town family members in Tropic for the missionary report and visiting with the Berdell Barton family. Jeannene Ramsay is the new town board member in charge of the park and Scout House. All reservations reserva-tions for their use should be made with her. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wintch are spending two months with their daughter Pam in Colorado. The Bryce Lions Club will meet at 8 p.m. Jan. 7 in the Scout House. All Lions are urged to be in attendance. A special guest will be there to speak to them. Margaret Mecham and Margie Mecham visited with Margaret's daughter, Garnet Barton, in Cedar City. The Bryce Valley senior citizens van will go to Richfield Friday, Jan. 12. Make reservations with Ella Adair or EvaDean Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shakespear were in Salt Lake City during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Dallen Baugh were weekend visitors at the Matland Baugh home. Jan Fulmer will have his missionary mis-sionary testimonial Sunday, Jan. 24. A dinner for him will be held Wednesday, Jan 20 in the Tropic Ward. Shane Anderson was ordained a priest Sunday. Steven Syrett was ordained a teacher. Kay Shakespear has been released re-leased as the assistant nursery leader and Kim Shakespear will take her place. The Clive Bybees had all of their children home last week for a family dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Allen and daughter of Provo spent the weekend week-end with the Larvin Pollocks. |
