Show SFmHA Seeking County ilodi; Committee Nominees j The Farmers Home Administration Ad-ministration (FmHA) is accepting bminations for county committee lections for Garfield County, ac-ording ac-ording to Kendall Brinkerhoff, cal FmHA representative. Oigible voters have the right to ominate candidates for petition for position on the committee. I Copies of the petition and inductions in-ductions on its completion can be obtained from the local FmHA Office located at 225 East Center Street in Panguitch. Persons nominated should be rurrently engaged in the operation )f a farm, said Brinkerhoff and have heir principal farming operation within the county or area in which tctivities of the County or area Committee are carried out. They Iwuld derive the principal part of heir income from farming (that is, nore than 50 percent of their gross ncome must come from igricultural production), be a atizen of the United States or an ilien lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence, not lave an FmHA insured or fuaranteed loan, and be well palified for committee work. I Nominations must be received in parfield County FmHA Office no pter than 4:30 p.m. July 18, 1986. PmHA committee elections are pen to all eligible voters without jegard to race, color, religion, tonal origin, age, political af- filiation, marital status, sex, and or handicap, said Brinkerhoff. |
