Show By Marta Peterson 834-5306 Summer has officially arrived but the overnight temperatures are still reflecting early May lows. The Bryce Canyon visitor is expecting expect-ing warm summer temperatures but is often surprised with a low slightly below freezing. Dick and Marge Rogers of Columbia, Calif, have arrived at Bryce Canyon to volunteer their services. Dick is busy repairing fence lines ravaged by the winters heavy snowfall while Marge works for the interpretive division helping out in a myriad of ways. The non-denominational Christian Chris-tian services have begun at the Bryce Canyon Lodge each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the auditorium. audito-rium. Bob and Pauline Morlock of Longview, Tex. enjoyed a visit with the John Morlock family. Ananda and Kiko had a great time with their grandparents. Bob and Charlotte Shaw have joined the swelling volunteer ranks at Bryce Canyon. Voluntccrs-In-Parks is a special program that not only helps the parks, but also enriches the lives of the volunteers. |
