Show Cannonville News : ri Betty Henderson 679-8592 Mr. and Mrs. Norm LeFevre were at Hill Field early this week to visit Mr. and Mrs. Loren Johnson. Hobart Feltner went to Malad, Ida., to meet his new great-granddaughter. Parents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs. Terry Davis. Hobart also visited daughter Beverly Davis and niece Diane Brown. Arnel Burr was home for a few days visiting his family. He is working in Nevada. Marva Fletcher, Patty Lutes, Kay Walker, Violet Rae Hughes, Mira Loy Ott, and Betty Henderson attended the Family History Workshop Work-shop in Tropic Wednesday evening. Beverly Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sorter visited Hobart Feltner Felt-ner and went with him to Tracy Feltner's farewell in Tropic. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Twitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Twitchell, Rita Twitchell. and Glenda Fp.lmpr nlcn attended the farewell. Back-to-school night was held Friday night and was well attended by parents and students. Elementary teachers and students hosted the event. Shana Goulding was here for a few days to visit her mother, Elizabeth Eliza-beth Nelson. Kay Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Don Mangum went to St. George to witness the sealing of a new grandchild to Mr. and Mrs. David Mathews in the St. George LDS Temple. Lee Barney is home recuperating after having knee surgery. Many changes were made in the Cannonville LDS Ward on Sunday Mira Loy Ott was put in as education educa-tion counselor, Mary Jean Willis as homemaking counselor and Ra-mona Ra-mona Moss as family education leader in the Relief Society. Gay a Shakespeare is the new Youni Women's president with Linda Nel- f son as counselor. Betty Hendersor was called as counselor in the Pri ' mary and Steve Nelson was called -to teach the Sunbeam class. Patrick Clarke and Michael I Fletcher are attending Dixie College. Col-lege. Fran Dunham is in Salt Lak: City to attend the University of j Utah and Jeff Shakespeare is i attending Southern Utah State Col- lege. j |
