Orton said the standards set last year in all the training programs and in public service will be kept for this year. Dodds reported that over the 12-month 12-month period last year, the rescue group spent over 1,300 hours in training in such disciplines as in-toxilator in-toxilator use, Category II training, high angle rescue techniques (mountain rescue), first aid, and deadly force training. The group also compiled over 600 man hours in public service and rescue. Orton said the unit is constantly upgrading equipment and procedures to keep pace with training. The current role of members also includes Richard Crofts, John Talbot, Mike Talbot, Royce Pollock, Pol-lock, Arlin Sawyer, Gary Owens, Glenn Leach, Chris Soper, Neil Barton, Jake Albrecht, Art Miller, Ron Hatch, Tom Hatch, Dave Harris, Har-ris, Charles Duffy, Keith Hcnrie, George Proctor, Tom Simkins, and Kay Englestead. |
