Show Tropic News JoAnn Carter, Scott Carter, Kristen Carter, and Curtis Carter, Keesler Air Force Base, N.M., spent the weekend with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair. Larry Adair visited his parents the Arnold Adairs on Saturday. The children of Viola Marshall, David Marshall, LeRoy Marshall, Lucille Snow, and Julia Ann Sanders visited with friends in Tropic. Minnie Nielsen visited her sister Ellen Hall in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ott were in Salt Lake City while Stan had therapy at the Veterans Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lonny Pollock were in Salt Lake City this week and visited Judy Chynoweth in the LDS Hospital. Cheryl was a bone marrow donor for her sister Judy. Kaylynn Nielsen attended a Rural School Seminar at Park City four days this week. Wallace Ott was in St. George for an eye checkup. Violet Little-field Little-field attended funeral services in Payson for her aunt Josephine Snyder Pearson. Ora Brinkerhoff went to Beaver for her grandaughter's birthday party. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair were in St. George for an eye appointment. appoint-ment. They visited son Larry Adair in Cedar City on the way home. Jerry Pollock is home for a short visit with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wintch took their two small granddaugthers home to Provo. They then went to Las Vegas to meet another granddaughter grand-daughter and a grandson to come and visit with them for a week before be-fore their school starts. The Family Home Evening group met at Margaret Mecham's home this week. The Senior Citizens are planning to visit Fremont State Park Friday, Aug. 18. Anyone interested in going go-ing on the trip please contact Ella Adair no later than Wednesday, Aug. 16, for reservations and rides. The monthly dinner will be held at a later date. Mr. and Mrs. MonDell Syrett took son Brady Syrett to Salt lake City for missionary supplies. TH8 daughters of Hope Wintch will hold an open house on Tuesday, Tues-day, Aug. 15 to help her celebrate her 90th birthday. It will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Tropic Relief Re-lief Society room. All friends are invited to attend. The Herman Pollocks enjoyed a visit from sons Jeff Pollock and Gary Pollock and their families. Mcchon Ott and Katy Shakespear were graduated from Primary and welcomed into the young women program. The Danny Chynoweths visited with the Gene Chynoweths. Clivc Bybee took daughter Rhonda Fry to Salt Lake City to board an airplane to return to her home in Colorado. Nancy Hubner visited with Margaret Mar-garet Mecham and Margie Mccham. The Bryce Valley class of 1984 held their reunion at Fosters Steak House July 28. The Obic Shakespears had daughter JoAnn Piatt home for the weekend. Senior citizens will have their monthly dinner at 6 p.m. Aug. 3 in the Scout House. |
