Owner of the ranch Burns Black has had a crew here working to remodel some of the lodge and build one more cabin. The Relief Society held their annual dinner a little late this year on March 22. Last week I neglected to report that Kay Jollcy had just recently had heart surgery but is doing well. Barbara Gleave took her mother-in-law, Marguerite Gleave to Provo for tests in preparation for surgery. Bishop Layne and wife Ilcne Blood, Afton and Carol Blood and many others met the plane in Salt Lake City on Wednesday to welcome wel-come Travis Blood home from his LDS mission in South Africa. Barbara Gardner's parents, Bob and Ann Martinez returned here after spending the winter months in Yuma, Ariz. Todd Gardner will be attending the high school rodeo in Ogden on the weekend. James and Judy Guanajato of Salt Lake City are here visiting with Judy's sister, Barbara Gardner. Carol Blood reports that Kerry Bloods will be traveling to Germany Ger-many for his company, Southern Utah Fuel for Kerry to receive some training on the mining equipment. Corlas Montague has been called as Weblo Leader as he is already al-ready the Assistant Scout Leader. Miriam Von Kaenel has been visiting in California with her husband hus-band and family. She returned home on Wednesday. Genevieve Patrick came back with Miriam and Jerry Von Kaenel and will spend the weekend and return re-turn when Jerry goes back to California. |
