Show Questers Provided 1,080 Eggs For Annual Kids' Hunt Ninety dozen eggs totals 1080, the number of boiled and colored eggs that the -Quester's Bunny hid at Panguitch park for over 315 youngsters to find Wednesday afternoon, af-ternoon, Mar. 26 at the Quester's annaul Easter egg hunt. Quester's president Tammy Jo Barton said that all the members of the group helped and that a committee com-mittee of 10 oversaw the egg hiding operation. Barton said that the egg hiding was done in five separate parts of the park so that the hunt could go on simultaneously with five different groups.- Each unit had an egg marked "Grand Prize" and one marked "First Prize". The youngster in each group that found the egg marked grand prize won an Easter basket and the one finding the egg marked first prize won a stuffed animal. There were also plastic eggs that had a prize given by a local merchant that was redeemable at their place of business. Barton also apologized for anyone in the area that was unable to find a candy rabbit for Eater. The Questers gave a candy bunny to each of the 315 participants. Grand prize winner in the two to three year age group was Tyson Barney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Barney. The pre-school through kindergarten winner was Kendra Dunn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dunn. The first to second grade winner was Sarah Handley, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Brian Handley. The third to fourth grade winner was Christie Barabas, daughter of Robbie Irish. The fifth grade winner was Chet Hatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hatch. |
