Show OBITUARIES v Durk Kay Clark Durk Kay Clark, age 33, of Portland, Oregon, died Sunday, April 7, 1991 at Portland.. He was born September 28, 1957 at Ogdcn, to Ronald and Patsy Andersen Clark. He grew up and attended schools in Pocatello, Ida. and was a graduate of Highland High School in 1975. He played violin, viola and cello. During high school he played viola with the Idaho State Symphony. He attended All-State and All-Northwest Music Clinics and toured Europe with America's Youth in Concert. He was active in the musical community in Portland Port-land the past 10 years and served as treasurer of the Portland Choral Consortium. He attended Idaho State University, Uni-versity, DeVry Institute of Technology Tech-nology in Phoenix, Ariz, and received re-ceived his associate of science degree de-gree in electrical engineering in 1989 from ITT Technical Institute of Oregon. He was a former employee of FMC in Pocatello and was employed em-ployed at the Bijou Cafe in Portland Port-land at the time of his death. He was interested in music, history, his-tory, electronics and collecting nostalgia items. He was a volunteer volun-teer in community based health services. He is survived by his father and mother of Pocatello and three sisters: sis-ters: Edrie Linn Cleaver, Pocatello; Poca-tello; Lauralee Knowles, Logan; and Rhonde Rae Heiner of Oak Harbor, Wash. He was also survived sur-vived by his grandparents: Kay and Laura Clark of Henrieville, and -', ' Durk Kay Clark Willard and Mamie Andersen, Pocatello, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 18 at the Chubbuck First LDS Ward with Bishop Steven Teeples officiating. Interment was in the Arbon cemetery. |
