Show Panguitch Stake We join with the rest of the Christian world in wishing a pleasant holiday season to all of our friends and neighbors in southern Utah. We express our gratitude to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ not only for his birth which we now celebrate, but also for his redeeming sacrifice which enables all mankind to live again. We hope that all might be a bit more Christ-like at this season. ..a bit more forgiving, a bit more understanding of others, a bit more willing to serve him, a desire to think less of self, a greater love of God through exemplary living. We are grateful to serve with you whom we love. We are thankful for numerous acts of unselfish service, for dedicated saints who put the Lord first, and for families who have goals of being eternal units. May Heavenly Father bless you all with health, happiness and prosperity for 1990. May we all also remember, as we are faced with weather conditions that are less than adequate for our moisture needs, that Heavenly Father hears the prayers of the righteous. Let's try as communities and as a people to be worthy of this much-needed blessing of the life-giving substance we call water. Let's willingly give of our physical and spiritual substance that we may be able to call down blessings from heaven in the form of winter moisture as we are in the midst of what is beginning to be a terrible drought. Let's give of ourselves and exercise our faith in Him who was once the holy babe in Bethlehem so that he may indeed "open the windows of heaven" upon us, his people. We love you. We pray for good things upon you and your families. Merry Christmas. Panguitch, Utah Stake Presidency John W. Yardley A. Paul Morgan Alan R. Maynes |
