Show Panguitch News Summer activities are in full swing in the area with boys' and girls' summer camps held and a few local people getting in some trips between visitors at home. Former natives Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Haycock, Vallejo, Calif., report that their son Ronald S. Haycock has been called to serve on the Napa LDS Stake high council, Napa, Calif. Warren Haycock and others of the Haycock family visited here recently. re-cently. The George Proctors had grandson grand-son Douglas Whitings' family, Clearfield, here as they toured Zion Canyon and Pipe Springs. George and Thora had Father's Day dinner at the Ron Proctors' in Cedar City. Scott Robinson is home after attending weddings of his granddaughters. grand-daughters. The daughters of Donald Robinson and Gerald Robinson were married. The Jack Vorises have had Nina's sister Mayme Armentaro, Mont., visiting. Erna Riggs' granddaughter Rachel Riggs, Vernal, has been here much of the summer. The John Riggs came for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Caldwell, Salt Lake City, and Don and Janet Adams, Kaysville, visited with Erna. Lee is Erna's nephew and Janet is the daughter of the late lifelong residents Stan and Beth Tcbbs. The Tom Simkinses went to Hcbcr to see son Howard Simkins take part in the state high school rodeo finals. Howard was among the top 10 bull riders. Melissa Hatch, Alisha Hatch, Heather Linford and Stephanie Black attended girls state at Southern South-ern Utah State College in Cedar City. Rcnce Nolan and Patrick Nolan talked about keeping families together to-gether in the LDS Third Ward sacrament meeting. They are moving mov-ing to Logan next month. Ryan Clark paid tribute to his father and to all fathers in the meeting. The Bob Benfields have returned from a visit with his 96-year old father in Connecticut. Angela Sheffer's family visited her parents, the Ray Tebbs. Kern Owens' daughter Caroline Parkinson visited for Father's Day. |
