Show Arden Allen went to Mesa to spend the holiday with Doris and her mother, Rella Redd, who is progressing after her knee surgery. A large crowd attended funeral services for David Rose. Many came from Salt Lake City, St. George, Price and many more cities and small towns. A Thanksgiving dinner and program pro-gram was held at the Senior Citizen center. Irving and Viola Rose went to South Jordan for the sustaining and setting apart of son-in-law Tom Kline as second counselor in the LDS bishopric there. Families visiting vis-iting the Roses were Larry and Laraine Rose and Tom and Janis Kline. Ronald and Patsy Clark came from Idaho to spend Thanksgiving with his parents Kay and Laura Clark. Word was received that Thora Partner and daughter, Marilyn Beard, were in a car wreck in Orem. Thora suffered severe leg injuries when another car ran a stop light near the Beard home. She is staying stay-ing with daughter Marilyn. The Clement Brodericks had an early Thanksgiving with 55 of their family here for a dinner after attending attend-ing the mission report of grandson Carlon Johnson in Panguitch. Here for the holiday at the Dewey and Teora Willis home were son and daughter-in-law, the Cecil Willises of Heber. Clifford and Collette Mathews and their son, Christopher Mathews will stay here a few weeks with Delpha Rose. Edith and Amon Barker had daughter, Mary Ann and husband of Billings, Mont, here for a week-long week-long visit. Clement and Clara Johnson visited vis-ited at the Jeff Johnson home and went on down to Arizona to visit their son and daughter-in-law, the Jay Johnsons, who moved there recently. re-cently. been visiting in Nevada at Hawthorne and Reno with family members and then on to Salt Lake City for Robert's appointment with the doctor. Visitors at the home of Ken and JoAnne Goulding were Cindy Sawyer, Paula Sawyer, Dallen and Beverly Sawyer and Garth Heap. Sheral Sawyer is here for a few days, she has graduated from cosmetology cosme-tology school in Cedar City and is working at the Cutting Edge. Rachael Thompson is home for the holiday from college. Daniel and Sarah Rose had her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Christensen of Moab and Sarah's brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Paul Christensen of Dugway, here for the holiday. |
