Show Public Notices NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION BOARD OF EDUCATION OF GARFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, GARFIELD COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special bond election will be held in the Garfield County School District, Garfield County, Utah in conjunction with the General Election on the 7th day of November, 1995, at which election there shall be submitted to the qualified, registered voters residing within said District the following question: 6 PROPOSITION SHALL THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF GARFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, GARFIELD COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, BE AUTHORIZED TO SSUE AND SELL GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE BOARD TOJ3UT NOT EXCEEDING, THE AMOUNT OF $7,600,000, TO MATURE IN NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY 720) YEARS FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE DATE OR DATES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING MONEY FOR PURCHASING SCHOOL SITES, FOR BUILDING OR PURCHASING ONE OR MORE SCH06LHOUSES AND SUPPLYING THE SAME WITH NECESSARY FURNITURE AND APPARATUS AND FOR PURCHASING, CONSTRUCTING OR IMPROVING SUCH OTHER BUILDINGS, SITES, STRUCTURES OR EQUIPMENT UNDER THE CHARGE OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE MONEY FOR THE REFUNDING OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE BOARD AT OR PRIOR TO THE MATURITY THEREOF? The polling places for the special bond election shall be the polling places in the following election precincts established and provided by the Board of Education of Garfield County School District. Electors are advised to vote at the polling place for the election precinct in which they reside. Garfield County Absentee Ballots Garfield County School District 145 East Center Panguitch, UT 84759 The voting at the special bond election shall be by paper ballots furnished by the Business Administrator of the Board of Education of Garfield County School District, Garfield County, Utah, to the judges of election, which they shall furnish to the qualified voters. The polls at each polling place shall be opened on the day set for the election at the hour of 7:00 A.M. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 P.M. of that same day. ' Tiere will be no special registration of voters for such special bond election and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such special bond election, except that the County Clerk of Garfield County will register at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the ten-day period immediately preceding the special bond election, any person who on the day of the special bond election will be a qualified elector such person to be registered as provided by law. The County Clerk will cause the registration agents in Garfield County School District to make registration lists or copies available at the above-described polling place for use by registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Absentee ballots may be obtained by any person otherwise eligible to vote at the special bond election but who is physically disabled, who will be serving as an election judge in another voting precinct or who expects to be absent from the District on the day of the special bond election by making application in the manner and within the time provided by law, either in person or by mail at the office of the Business Administrator at the Garfield County School District Offices, 145 East Center, Panguitch, Utah. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Thursday, November 16, 1995, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock p.m. that being a day not later than ten (10) days after the special bond election, the Board of Education of Garfield County School District will meet at the District Offices, 145 East Center, Panguitch, Utah and will canvass the returns and declare the results of the special bond election. PANGUITCH CITY WASTEWATER PROJECT NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING The final Public Meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1V95 at 7:00 P.M. in the Panguitch City Office Council Room. The purpose pur-pose of the meeting is to discuss the Amendment to the Panguitch City Wastewater Collection and Treatment Facilities Plan.
