Show Clement and Marie Broderick's 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated cel-ebrated with all of their 10 children chil-dren in attendance along with their spouses for a total of 67 immediate family members here. Clement had his four brothers and Marie had six of her brothers and sisters here visiting. Many more friends and other relatives came to extend their best wishes. Frankie and Gayle Moore spent the weekend in Farmington with her folks and to see Gayle's brother and sister who just returned home from their LDS missions-. Lula Moore and Mary Lou Nielson had surgery in St. George and are doing much better. Olaf Shakespear has transferred his treatments from Salt Lake City to St George. Thora Partner went with Joe arid Violet Rae Hughes to I Orderville to attend the testimonial testimo-nial for the Partner's sister and brother-in-law Bessie and Lincoln Crofts who will be leaving on their second LDS mission. They are going to Adam-Ondi-Haman. L Visiting at the Robert and Helen He-len Willis home, after returning from Salt Lake City, were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Underwood from Orem, and Doc and Eunice Ober-hanski Ober-hanski from Hawthorne, Nev. Edward Boger is in Alaska where he has employment. Robert and Louise Patterson were in Las Vegas, Nev., visiting their son Alan who was hospitalized hospital-ized with pneumonia. Janis Kline brought her three children to spend some time with grandparents Irving and Viola Rose. They will be coming this weekend with some friends to sight-see and get the children. Ellis and Arvella Johnson went to Bountiful to visit daughter Norma Asay and on to Idaho to visit daughter Melba Hinds and also some of Arvella's family members. Speakers in LDS services on Sunday were Michael Clarke and Franz Shakespear. A missionary dinner was held Wednesday evening for Kenyon Piatt. |
