Show Lady Cats Dump Wayne, Lose To Enterprise ByJohnW.Yardley Panguitch Lady Cats waltzed past Wayne 44-33 before falling to tough Enterprise at Enterprise. The win v 1' and loss leaves them one game back of the leaders as they aim for the Region February, 12-13-14 in Panguitch. Against Wayne, Suzette Holman tanked 22 points to lead the attack for Panguitch. Collette Simkins scored seven and Mala Reynolds six. The JV's won 22-20 in a thriller. Shannon Allen tallied 13 and Tami Henrie six. Enterprise handed PHS some real "home cookin" in a 48-38 win for the Lady Wolves. Misty Miller scored 12, Terrie Baldwin six, and Suzette ..Simkins six. The JV's won at Enterprise 40-34, with balanced scoring from Allen 17, Kari Josie 15, and Nannette Covington 10. The girls played Beaver last night in the final regular season game. The Region games in Panguitch on the 12th, 13th, and 14th, will start at 2:30 p.m. daily. In boys basketball Panguitch eased by the Wayne Badgers at Bicknell while Bryce Valley was topped by tough Piute and Escalante lost to Valley and then picked up a win over the Wasatch Academy. For Clare Ramsay's Mustangs, Shawn Chynoweth continued his torrid scoring streak with 32 points including three 3-pointers. 3-pointers.
