Show Panguitch Lake Mows - By Tracy Armstrong 676-2277 Ice was actually seen on the lake this week. Maybe winter is finally here. Beaver Dam Village home-owners had their annual potluck Christmas party at the Beaver Dam Lodge earlier this month. About 45 people attended and enjoyed music, mu-sic, dancing, and just a whole lot of fun. Gifts were exchanged and friendships renewed. Clair and Sherry Veater have recently re-cently accepted an LDS temple mission call to the St. George Temple for the next two years. They start in January. Congratulations! We heard that the Lakeview Resort sold to two couples from California. Try to find out more about our new friends to be. Ed Mock has promised his 1 grandmother a snowmobile ride when she comes up this week. She enjoyed the rides on the quad two weeks ago. At 92, and obviously active, we're glad she's breaking the Mocks in. Craig Armstrong had a birthday party Saturday. Up from town to enjoy the good time were Bobbie Burningham, Bryce Taylor, and Taylor Bremncr. Neighbor Anthony Safian and Craig's cousins from Phoenix, Ariz. Bridgettc, Kyle, Jake and Leesha were also there. Special thanks to Scott and Diane for the use of Rustic Lodge. Santa will be at the Rustic Lodge this Saturday, Dec. 23 from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., for the enjoyment of all. So come on over and enjoy the bearded man, cookies and punch. Also watch for the 6,000 or so lights at Blue Springs along the highway. |
