Show r J E 2 c. -J LJ i L J I i b J k-.. U L n a Reason fov an r U The Christmas season is not just for children, L Christians, the well-to-do, or any one special group. r It was given to everyone. This can be seen in r ii Matthew's and Luke's accounts of the birth of Jesus. L Out of these two accounts we can see that God 0 invited both poor wbrking men and rich rulers to r rejoice in the birth of His son. The shepherds went L searching, after an angel told them of the birth, and n though society looked down upon them, they found r y hope in the child. The Kings, who we at time call wisemen, were led to the newborn king by the star Othat God put in the sky for that purpose. They came r seeking a child and found a whole lot more. The Kings saw that their earthly wealth and wisdom, although respected and revered by society, left them N with a need as great as the lowly shepherds. A need for the Christ child to enrich their lives. Today we can celebrate the birth of Jesus with all H the joy that the shepherds and kings showed when they saw the Christ child. But remember this season is for all because Jesus came for all, the poor, the Orich, the educated, the uneducated, the religious, and f the non-religious, so all can find the hope that Jesus k-gives. k-gives. From myself and all the members of New T Beginning Baptist Church a wish for a Merry L Christmas is extended to all and that all would accept Oand experience the love of Jesus. r Rev.
